I recorded this episode from just south of Hartford Connecticut! I have been photographing a handful of at home newborn sessions here, and will be flying off to Phoenix, Arizona for another one next week!
My schedule on the road is so much different than it normally is when I’m home- so I thought it was a very fitting opportunity to create an episode all about time management- and more specifically answer the question- How do you find time, when there seems to literally be no time?!
Whether you’re a mom of little ones, a business owner of any kind, or maybe even both- time is your most valuable asset and everyone seems to want a piece of it. If our time is not well managed, it’s a recipe for disaster- in your business and in your personal life.
When you look at the greatest leaders in the world today, it’s so evident that they manage their time well. What I love about the subject of time though, is that everyone is given the same amount.
24 hours is the same length for anyone, no matter your age, no matter where you live, no matter how talented you are, what family you were born into, and no matter the resources available to you. I get 24 hours in a day, just like ANY successful leader in this world does. You have the same number of hours in a day as anyone else. The CEO of that big company has the same number of hours in his or her day as you do. The Mom of 5 kids has the same hours in her day as the mom of one.
It’s not in finding MORE time, but rather it’s BETTER using the time you already have. Sounds easy right? Well we all know that it can be easier said, than done. But my goal for this episode is to share some practical steps that I have been implementing in my own life and business- tips that in my hope- will make time management to not feel so overwhelmingly impossible after all.
